George Dillman is well-know by his detailed books on making use of pressure point techniques in traditional karate. He wrote three books on this: Kyusho-Jutsu, Advanced Kyusho-Jutsu and Tuite, all three in high regard. Especially for the beginning karateka (or martial artist of another disipline) who wants to learn about pressure points, this book is a great starting point. Dillman, a 9th Dan Ryukyu kempo Tomari-te, is chief instructor for Dillman Karate International, an organization of 80 schools worldwide, with an enrollment of nearly 10,000 students. Dillman has studied under five 10th degree black belts from Okinawa and in 1972 he first came into touch with pressure points. It took Dillman 15 years of intense study with many top-masters and hours of medical-anatomical research to finally interpret this ancient Okinawa knowledge. Currently, Dillman travels the world teaching seminars on pressure points and tuite (grappling) hidden within the traditional movements of the old martial arts forms. 1. The History Of Karate 2.
