Techniques for the defense against knife attacks are not only of interest for martial artists in the various disciplines. Everyone who is looking for effective ways to defend himself against these attacks in all kinds of situations will find detailed instructions in this book. In numerous exercise forms and combinations, illustrated with about 1,700 color photos, this book describes the use of distracting techniques, concepts to control and secure the knife-holding hand, and how to disarm the attacker. The book also demonstrates the defense against knife attacks from a close distance, in a standing as well as in a lying position.
