Kim is an internationally respected author of martial arts bestsellers and star of over 50 martial arts instructional videos. He won the 1976 Korean National Champion and was named Instructor of the Year in Korea in 1983. He holds an M.S. degree in physical education and Ph.D. in media studies. He currently devotes his time to teaching, writing and presenting martial arts seminars for students and instructors. Kyung Myung Lee was the Deputy Secretary General of the World Taekwondo Federation, headquarters of taekwondo in Seoul, South Korea until his retirement in 1999. He is a 9th degree black belt and author of 5 martial arts books. He was the 1988 Olympic coach for the Austrian Olympic Taekwondo Team and chairman of the Technical Committee of the European Taekwondo Association. Kuk Hyun Chung, considered by many to be the greatest taekwondo competitor ever, won the Gold Medal in Taekwondo in the 1988 Summer Olympic Games. He is listed in the Guiness Book of Sports Records as winning the most World Championship titles by a single person and is undefeated in International Competition.
