In a short period of time, the relatively new sport of 'sSubmission Wrestling's has developed into an event that is watched the world over. Respected as the pinnacle of Martial Arts Tournaments, Abu Dhabi Submission Wrestling Championships! A three day event held in the beautiful United Arab Emirites, the ADCC Championships have quickly become the Superbowl of Submission Wrestling featuring the greatest grapplers in the world. Athletes from dozens of countries around the globe, representing all the grappling arts, including Judo, Greco-Roman Wrestling, Freestyle Wrestling, Jiu-Jitsu, Shooto, Sambo and other groundfighting systems compete in single elimination 16-man tournaments to decide who the best grapplers in the world are. This was the very first DVD produced for the MMA industry and was raw, but for historical purposes, the DVD is available again! This DVD is considered a 'sclassic's by Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and submission wrestling fans and is hard to come by. 1. Frank Trigg vs Renzo Gracie from ADCC 1998 2. Hayato 'smach's Sakurai does the unthinkable to Ricco Rodriguez from 1999. 3. Royler Gracie vs Joao Roque in what was called the best match of 1999. 4. Kareem Barklev vs Ricardo Arona from 2000 where all hell breaks loose when Arona slaps Barklev during the fight. Insane stuff! 5. Ricardo Morais vs. Mark Robinson from 2000. Both men sustain brutal injuries as one many never fought again from this very match. 6. Jean-Jacques Machado vs. Caol Uno from 1999. This is poetry in motion and one of the best matches from that year. 7. Tito Ortiz (former ufc champion) takes on a much smaller Rumina Sato in the absolute (no weight limit) tournament. The ending result is someone going unconscious! Bonus features: - Eddie Bravo in never before seen personal footage after defeating Royler Gracie. - plus: weigh-ins, post fight interviews, training techniques and more....
